Hello everyone! Isaly here. I have an amazing blogger writing a guest blog for me this week and it is pertaining to beauty. Kristy runs a diy, inspirational, and photography to design blog called Life N Reflection. Her motto is "committing to empowering creativity, providing encouragement, sharing inspiration and designing products that are both fun and innovative." She made an awesome post about bath fizzies that I think you all will enjoy (: Kristy from Life N Relfection will demonstrate below...
Pour yourself a soothing bath with our five minute recipe for Orange Clove Bath Fizzies. Soak in the natural benefits of antibacterial and antifungal coconut oil while it softens your skin. For rough areas, rub on epsom salts and orange rind to naturally exfoliate.
- In a small bowl add coconut oil, sweet orange essential oil, and optional soap colorants. Stir to combine and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine baking soda, cornstarch, epsom salt, and citric acid. Stir well. Add clove and grated orange rinds. Mix to combine. Using a whisk slowing add oil mixture, whisking constantly.
- Lightly spritz witch hazel into the mixture and continue to whisk until slightly damp and pliable in your hands.
- Pour into bath fizzies into airtight containers and store for up to one month. Add a teaspoon or more into your next warm bath.
It makes about 20 ounces with these directions and ingredients.
