One day shopping around target for curtains, I came across some really nice curtains that were around $20. I had gotten push pins for my office also. Its amazing how you go inside of a store to get one thing and end up going grocery shopping and spending $50. Lol. But, let me get back to the theme of this blog.
Once I got home I realized that I had forgotten a rod for my curtains. An idea came to me that maybe I should try out push pins. I had already spent $25 already. So why not use the items I already bought? Ta da. The push pin idea actually did not look bad at all but gave a new look to the curtains I had bought. I think you guys should try it out. It saves money and gives a new look. Curtains can be found anywhere or you can make them yourself from Michaels and Joann Fabrics. Grab different types of push pins, get creative! I have been having my curtains up for a few weeks and I forget that I even used push pins to begin with. Push pins took only a few mins compared to me using a rod and measuring the window.
But, I know sometimes we want to close our curtains to give it a different style. Maybe you could use this style for certain rooms and not every room. Push pins can save you money!
I think that push pins can be used in many different ways especially with different home decor. But, after using push pins for my curtains I realized that there are many alternative tools to use for home decor. For example, using Command photo strips for the back of canvases and photo frames to hang on walls instead of using nails in the wall. You just have to try out different methods to see what is the best for you (: But, until next time!
